One of the most daring articles of clothing a woman can wear are thigh highs. Until recently, thigh highs were considered similar to underwear, to be revealed only in the bedroom. New thigh high designs are less provocative and more carefree. They keep your wardrobe versatile because you can pair them with some of your summer wear plus chunky knit scarves in the winter. The best shoes to pair with thigh highs are generally boots and ankle booties. (Warning: Steer towards flats and you will be channeling a Catholic school girl.) Madison recommends thigh highs with simple designs and neutral colors.
