One truly enjoyable thing to do in the summer is to have a picnic while taking in a polo game at Will Rogers State Park. The large playing field features plenty of spectator space, and is the perfect place to spread out a blanket and spend the afternoon in the sun without having to drive too far – Will Rogers park is just a few minute drive up a winding road off of Sunset in the Palisades. The park also features a great trail with amazing ocean and city views – which you can hike or take a guided horseback trail ride from the equestrian school onsite.
